
About Us
Sam Louie is a psychotherapist, author, and speaker on issues related to Asian shame, addictions, and mental wellness. He received his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University. He is also a certified sex addiction therapist (CSAT), which he earned through the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP).
Sam comes from three generations of addictions and understands addictions from both a clinical and personal level. He has also been in recovery since 2001 and understands the complex road in recovery for those individuals who struggle with gambling disorders, alcohol dependency, or sex and love addiction.

Background:
Sam is a first-generation, Chinese-American immigrant from Hong Kong who grew up in South Seattle. As a result, he is keenly aware of the role of multicultural sensitivity when working with minorities and Asian-Americans.
